HAuNTcon Presenter – Allen Hopps

Allen has acted designed built decorated and costumed haunted attractions for over 25 years -10 of those were year-round haunt work in Orlando Florida at Terror on Church St. and Skull Kingdom. Allen has worked for small haunts as well as larger haunts like Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights Orlando and Spookyworld in Massachusetts. Becoming known for innovative costumes, stilt costumes, mask making, and his work with actors, Allen has recently taken the position of Resident artist at Haunt 2013 in Dallas, TX. He produces actor training DVDs and a YouTube channel to help haunters in a spirit of sharing.

Allen will be offering several classes at HAuNTcon 2013 including this 3 part Mask Making Workshop

Making a Custom Latex Mask Part 1: Creature Sculpting – class is limited to 15
Workshop 6 – Saturday, April 27 from 8:30 – 10:30 am
Making a Custom Latex Mask Part 2: Molding and Pouring – class is limited to 15
Workshop 14 – Sunday, April 28 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Making a Custom Latex Mask Part 3: Finishing and Painting – class is limited to 15

About HAuNTcon

An acronym for the Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow and Conference, HAuNTcon is a celebration of people who love Haunted Houses and Halloween. It is three days and nights jam-packed full of Networking, Tours of area Haunted Attractions, educational seminars, make-n-takes teaching the latest is Haunting techniques and a tradeshow exhibiting the latest in Haunting props and equipment.

Offerings include a pre-show bus tour of area Haunted attractions, tours of local Haunted attractions, tradeshow floor, costume ball, haunted garage sale and Haunter education including workshops, make-up and product demonstrations, and prop how-to make-n-takes.

HAuNTcon is open to the general public and all ages are welcome to attend. If you operate a Haunted House or would like to. If you act at a Halloween Event or would like to. If you Haunt your Home, or if you are just a fan of Haunted Houses and Halloween, then HAuNTcon is a "not to be missed" weekend of Haunting fellowship and just plain fun!
