Description – Along with an invaluable amount of knowledge, each student will take home Tom Devlin’s custom T13 airbrush by Paasche! This all day class will teach students the entire process of creating, applying, and painting a latex prosthetic. Students will sculpt and mold a piece, take a brief lunch break, then come back to class and learn how to use latex to make their creation into a working piece of art using airbrush and had applied paint techniques.

Speaker Bio

Tom Devlin has been working professionally as a special makeup effects artist for 13 years. If you’ve ever met Tom, it is clear that monsters, horror movies, and Halloween are not just a job for him, but a passion.
Through his company 1313FX, Tom has provided creatures and special makeup effects on over 100 feature films, working with many of the actors and directors that inspired his path. In addition to his work in film and television, Tom has created a line of Halloween masks for the Haunted Attractions industry. He has been selling his creations to some of the most well-known haunts across the country for the last 6 years.Tom recently appeared as a contestant on the SyFy reality series “Face Off”. He quickly became a fan favorite with his winning horror villain “Teddy Told Me To,” a terrifying take on the teddy bear. www.1313fxfrightzone.com

About HAuNTcon

An acronym for the Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow and Conference, HAuNTcon is a celebration of people who love Haunted Houses and Halloween. It is three days and nights jam-packed full of Networking, Tours of area Haunted Attractions, educational seminars, make-n-takes teaching the latest is Haunting techniques and a tradeshow exhibiting the latest in Haunting props and equipment.

Offerings include a pre-show bus tour of area Haunted attractions, tours of local Haunted attractions, tradeshow floor, costume ball, haunted garage sale and Haunter education including workshops, make-up and product demonstrations, and prop how-to make-n-takes.

HAuNTcon is open to the general public and all ages are welcome to attend. If you operate a Haunted House or would like to. If you act at a Halloween Event or would like to. If you Haunt your Home, or if you are just a fan of Haunted Houses and Halloween, then HAuNTcon is a "not to be missed" weekend of Haunting fellowship and just plain fun!
