  1. I was wondering what the 85 dollars get you? I have been to Dragoncon a number of years and not sure how different this is. I see there are a number of other things that cost money. Never been to a Con with so many different price structures.

  2. HAuNTcon says:

The price of admission gets you access to over 50 hours of educationa and the tradeshow. Unlike a Horror Con, HAuNTcon is a conferance! The tradeshow has pipe and drape. The education more professional and detailed.

The other events are add-ons for Haunt tours, socials and the Costume Ball that includes food, decorations and music. Other simular conferances charge a lot more.

  3. Are single day tickets available?

  4. Can one also buy just a pass to the trade floor?

  5. HAuNTcon says:

There is no tradeshow pass. Attendance to the convention includes the education, which is an importaint aspect of the show. The better you can be at what you do, the more money you can make and the more you can spend on HAuNTcon vendors in the future.

We do have a 1 day pass available at the door for $35, but we believe that you should try to attend all three days to get the full benifit of HAuNTcon!

  6. aborroto says:

Can children attend the tradeshow floor and the celebrity areas? We would love to come and check this convention out as we are in the process of improving our own Haunted House for the fall. Thanks

  7. HAuNTcon says:

There is no age restriction for HAuNTcon, but anyone 15 or over will have to buy a ticket. (I Know a guy who owend and operated a Haunted House when he was 15)

Just know that the Tradeshow CAN be R rated at time with bloody semi nude props. Be sure to check out HAuNTcon’s Spooky Kids program! http://hauntcon.com/spooky-kids-childcare/

  8. I’m hoping to attend in 2011, will there be a con rate for rooms at the Crown Plaza? How much will 5 day passes be? And is there a forum on this site, cause i will have a million questions =)

  9. That would be GREAT! The HAuNTcon room block is $129 and it includes free shuttle to and from the airport! It is a really nice hotel.

The 3 day pass will stay the same at $85 preregister, $95 at the door. WE are still locing down pricing for the tours so we will not have a combo ticket price for a while. Lots of great haunts to see though!

You can ask your questions here and if I don’t answer them quick enough, email me at hauntcon@gmail .com or call me at 972-951-5100.

Be sure to join the HAuNTcon Fan Gage on FaceBook for updates and stay tuned for more details!

  10. You are way ahead of the game. The hotel has not set us up as a convention in thier system yet. I will be there next week finalizing somethings and will make sure I have the log in info before I leave.

    Thanks for the nudge!
