We are honored and THRILLED to announce the topics for our Keynote sessions at HAuNTcon 2010!

On Friday, April 30, at 5:00pm – T.J. Mannarino, Director of Art & Design at Universal Orlando Resort will present an overview of Halloween Horror Nights.

Saturday, May 1, at 5:00pm, Robbi Lepre and Scott Swenson,
Entertainment Directors at Busch Gardens Tampa Howl-O-Scream will present Monsters for the Masses: How Theme Parks Scare Thousands.

Evil Twin FX Hands On Sock Mask Making Workshop

Join Brian & Nick Wolfe of Evil Twin FX for this full day hands on, make-n-take workshop. Cameras and notepads are a must as students will learn to make custom character masks from foam latex appliances. The class will choose a character, put the mask together and then paint and finish it. Hand painting, airbrushing and proper appliance application will all be covered in this six hour monster fest.

Creatures, zombies and demons oh my! The best part is taking your class project home with you. Plus, the skills you learn can be used to make all the sock masks you want when you get home. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels from beginner to advance. So come as you are and let your creativity and skills develop through the instruction from two of the finest special FX teachers in the industry.

There were so many people that were disappointed that they did not get the chance to go on the pre-show tour that I worked a deal and got a additional bus!

Leatherface Comes to HAuNTcon

I just got off the phone with R.A. Mihailoff, better known as Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre III. He just finished up working on Hatchet 2 and has agreed to make a personal appearance at HAuNTcon 2010! RA is a great guy and a dear friend of Jeanne and I. We are thrilled that he will be at the show. RA will be meeting attendees and signing autographs on Saturday and Sunday May 1st and 2nd on the Tradeshow floor.

Be sure to come out and meet RA and all of the celebrities at this year’s HAuNTcon!

The Pre-Show Haunted Bus Tour is SOLD OUT, but you can still join in the fun! We are now offering pre-show admission only ticket to each of the five haunted attractions on the tour. (No bus, no food and no hotel accommodations) Follow the bus in your own car, eat where you want to, make your own hotel reservations, and still experience these great Haunted Houses!

Haunters don’t have a chance to get out and tour other haunts around the country in October, so HAuNTcon moves to a new city each year and works with local haunts to open during the show.
