What Is HAuNTcon

HAuNTcon is an acronym for the Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow and Conference, an expo and convention “Designed by Haunters, for Haunters” of every age and level of experience. HAuNTcon brings people who love Haunted Houses, Halloween, and scaring people together for a fun-filled experience that includes Haunt Tours, Education, Tradeshow, and Networking.

Past exhibitors in the tradeshow have featured haunt industry heavy-weights such as VFXcreates, Midnight Studios, and Pale Night. Reasonable booth fees that include electrical and internet, allow up-and-coming Haunt Industry exhibitors to get cost-effective exposure to a fanatical fan base.

HAuNTcon is heavily attended by pro-haunters and promotes home haunters, haunt actors, and Halloween enthusiasts of all kinds.

Over 40 hours of Haunt education is included in the 3-day trade show admission. Creative Sessions, Business Seminars, Hands-on Workshops, Makeup, and Product Demonstrations are all designed to provide information and teach attendees techniques to do what they do better, faster, and easier. Topics range from Haunted House Marketing and Business Plans, through Cheap Scares and Haunted House Design, Actor Training and Character Development, Prop building, and Set Design.

The Haunted Attraction National Tradeshow and Conference is excited to announce that it has expanded its scope to include the indie film and immersive events industries.  This dynamic new approach for the horror professional will bridge the gap between various entertainment sectors by bringing together producers, operations managers, and creatives from adjacent and often overlapping genres.  Our goal is to expand access to collective resources, assets, and training, inspire innovation, and help you create truly memorable and lucrative horror-based careers and businesses.

By utilizing a cross-platform approach, HauntCon positions itself to become a leader in the growing horror professional industry.
